Library materials can be returned in several locations:
Overdue Items and Fines
If an item is returned after the due date, an overdue fee is charged. The fine for most items, including books, magazines, audio books, and CDs is $0.10 per day with a maximum of $2.00. The fine for DVDs is $1.00 per day with a maximum of $5.00. The fine for museum passes is $3.00 per day.
The library charges the list price for any item that is lost or damaged.
If borrowers owe $5.00 or more in overdue charges or lost/damaged materials, the library may suspend library privileges.

A Stafford Library card is available to all Stafford residents at no charge. Children may obtain a card at any age with a parent's or guardian’s permission. If a card is lost, there is a $2 fee to replace it.
A reserve may be placed on most items, except museum passes. There are 3 ways to reserve an item:
