Stafford Library
New and Noteworthy

Stafford Library has reopened!

Stafford Library has reopened!
As of Monday July 6th we are once again open to the public. We look forward to welcoming you back!

To ensure the safety of our staff and patrons, the following guidelines have been established:

• If you are not feeling well, please stay home.

• Everyone must wear a face mask in the library.

• We are asking patrons to limit the time they spend in the library to no more than 1 hour.

• Curbside service will still be available (see hours below) for those who cannot wear a mask or who do not feel comfortable coming in to the library.

• Due to social distancing, there are a restricted number of computers available (computer use is limited to 1 hour per day and the computers automatically shut down 1/2 hour before we close).

• Use our book drops (located on either side of the main entry) to return your items (please do not bring them in to the library...these items will be quarantined before being checked in).

• Social distancing of 6 feet should be maintained between you and others in the library.

• Please follow all directional signs while in the library.

We have new amended hours (Mon, Wed, Fri 10-5; Tues, Thur 10-8; Sat 10-1).

Your patience and cooperation is appreciated.

Curbside Pickup

Curbside pickup hours:

--Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:30 am-3:30 pm

--Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 am-7:30 pm

--Saturday 10:30 am-12:30 pm

• Library patrons can request up to 10 books or other materials either by placing holds using our online catalog, or by calling the library. Patrons will be notified when their holds are ready.

• Patrons will call the library (during the curbside hours listed above) to let us know they are in the driveway in front of the library. Patrons should stay in their vehicles.

• Staff will take the patron's bagged items outside and place them on a cart that will be located under the overhang at the front entrance.

• Once staff is away from the cart, patrons can get out of their vehicle and retrieve their bagged items.

• Use our book drops (located on either side of the main entry) to return your items (do not leave them on the cart and do not bring them in to the library...these items will be quarantined before being checked in).

We appreciate your cooperation and patience.
